Dr. jur. Rainer Hartmann

Dr. jur. Hartmann is lawyer and tax advisor.
Since the winter term 2008/2009 he is deputy professor for tax - and commercial law at the University of Applied Sciences Wiesbaden, special field economy, subject business law.

After his law studies and obtaining the degree of “Dr.” (2001) in Freiburg im Breisgau and the second state examination in Düsseldorf in 2002 Rainer Hartmann at first was working with the “Bundesverband deutscher Banken e. V. in Berlin” ( Federal Association of German Banks), there being responsible for the special field of taxes.

In 2003 he changed to a big internationally active tax advice-, auditing- and legal advice company in Frankfurt am Main. There he stayed till 2008, at the end holding the position of a Manager with “prokura”.

Rainer Hartmann is partner with Notos Rechtsanwälte Steuerberater (Notos lawyers tax advisors) since October 2008.

His main points of emphasis are primarily focussed on consultancy services with regard to the shaping of tax - and company law related matters; in particular also with regard to transnational statements of affairs (international tax law) and to tax - and company law related advice to small and medium-sized enterprises.

Moreover Dr. Rainer Hartmann comprises of expert opinion in measures to be taken in the field of tax law to avert an imminent danger (finance court proceedings, investigations by the tax authorities ).
